They curse you;
For your virtues;
And are jealous;
Of you moving ahead.
They kick you;
When you are down;
And hurt you;
When you are depressed.
With phony smiles;
And false affections;
They claim;
To be your mates.
They mock your faults;
Your mistakes;
And shove them;
In your face.
They despise you;
Your smile;
And lie;
to your face.
True friends;
Are hard to hit;
In this mean world;
Cramped with selfish people.
